As President of eviCore Mr. Arlotta brings more than 45 years of experience developing innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve healthcare services. He has led start-ups, turnarounds, and growth organizations. Prior to joining eviCore, Mr. Arlotta was Special Advisor to General Atlantic, LLC, a leading global growth equity firm. He served as Chairman, President, and CEO of Denver-based Coram Inc., a privately held provider of home infusion and specialty pharmacy services with $500 million in revenues. Prior to that, Mr. Arlotta was Chairman and CEO of NeighborCare Inc., a Baltimore-based public company with annual revenues of $1.6 billion. Mr. Arlotta also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Caremark Rx from 1995 to 2000, and as Chairman, President, and CEO of HealthCall Corporation. He has been a Director on numerous company boards. Mr. Arlotta is graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a retired U.S. Army Reserve Captain.
Since joining eviCore in 1999, Mr. Smith has served in multiple roles, starting as the Vice President of Operations with MedSolutions (later acquired by CareCore National), now known as eviCore. He also led the development and management of the national imaging center network, and has led successful major initiatives in account management and business development. Mr. Smith currently serves as the President of eviCore’s Medical Benefits Management division; he is responsible for the profit and loss as well as overall growth of all business units. Prior to joining eviCore, Mr. Smith spent more than 3 years with Cigna/Healthsource in South Carolina as the VP, provider network management. He was responsible for national contracting for ancillary services for Cigna as well as management of local-market medical cost management activities. Prior to joining Healthsource, he served as Vice President of Development for Medical Resource Management. Mr. Smith began his career as a CPA in the Internal Audit department at Ernst & Whinney (which later became Ernst & Young). Mr. Smith graduated from Harding University with a BBA in accounting.
Mr. Eilert oversees the eviCore growth and innovation functions that engage and service clients and bring new and unique solutions to market.
Mr. Eilert has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare services and technology, serving in executive leadership for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50. He has experience building organizations, driving high-growth results, and leading cultural transformations. Prior to joining eviCore, Mr. Eilert worked for Optum, a division of UnitedHealth Group; over a period of 12 years he held progressively senior positions, including SVP, Payer Solutions and SVP, Growth for OptumInsight. Previously, Mr. Eilert served in various leadership roles with high-growth healthcare companies, including GeoAccess, STERIS, and Stryker.
Mr. Eilert earned his BS in business administration from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
He is active in a number of not-for-profit organizations in the Kansas City community.
Mr. Cook’s responsibilities include overseeing the financial reporting, planning and budgeting, underwriting/pricing, acquisitions, and integration activities for the Company. Prior to joining eviCore, Mr. Cook was a Vice President at General Atlantic, a growth-focused private equity firm managing $18 billion in assets; he focused on originating, executing, and managing investments in the healthcare and Internet/technology sectors. Mr. Cook played a key role in General Atlantic’s investment in eviCore healthcare, supporting the Company across a number of functional areas, including M&A/corporate development, finance and treasury, strategy, and HR.
Mr. Cook previously served as an Associate at TA Associates, a growth-focused private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating investments in the consumer and financial services sectors. Prior to that role, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Wachovia Capital Markets, where he helped advise companies on selling and acquiring businesses and evaluating strategic alternatives.
Mr. Cook earned his MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and his BS in business administration with concentrations in economics and finance from the University of Richmond.
As EVP of Human Resources and Chief People & Talent Officer, Ms. Mercier provides strategic leadership and oversight for all of eviCore’s human resources (HR) functions, including the corporate people and talent strategy, as well as recruiting, performance management, and benefits and compensation. She joined eviCore in August of 2010 as SVP of Human Resources to build the people & talent function. Her previous experience included serving as a partner at Hewitt (Aon Hewitt). Ms. Mercier received her bachelor of business administration (B.B.A.) degree at Loyola University. She holds the following professional designations: Certified Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), by the HR Certification Institute.
Ms. Johnson oversees eviCore’s legal, compliance, and government affairs departments. As the Chief Legal Officer, her responsibilities include identifying and managing key legal issues and their relationship to eviCore departments and policy areas, including operations, growth, finance, human resources, and corporate governance. As the Chief Compliance Officer, she leads the planning and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures that ensure the Company’s compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as third-party guidelines. Ms. Johnson joined eviCore as Associate General Counsel in 2010. Previously, as an attorney for Garfunkel, Wild in New York for 9 years, she frequently acted as counsel to eviCore. She began her career as an engineering consultant with Patrick Engineering in Chicago. Ms. Johnson holds a BS in environmental sciences from DePaul University and a JD from Columbia Law School.
As Chief Information Officer (CIO), Ms. Clarke is responsible for oversight of all areas of technology for eviCore, including product-related software development, infrastructure, and call center operations. Prior to joining eviCore in January of 2015, she was an independent consultant acting as interim CIO for various companies, including DHI Group, Inc., and SnapAV. Ms. Clarke also has extensive previous experience in the software technology business, serving as SVP of IT at OptumInsights, CIO for Misys PLC and Allscripts from 2007 until 2012, and Senior Director of Application Services for Hyperion Software from 1997 until 2004. Her senior IT positions included Group Vice President for Strategic Technology at The Gartner Group from 2004 until 2007. Ms. Clarke began her career at Dun & Bradstreet, where she held positions in a broad set of IT areas, from infrastructure to software design.
Ms. Clarke received her B.S. in Psychology at SUNY Stony Brook University, and her M.B.A. in Information Systems at NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Mr. Wahesh is responsible for eviCore’s business operations, including oversight of the production workforce of physician, nurse, non-clinical contact center, and claims operations. In addition, he is responsible for implementations, process and automation operations, provider experience, and business-to-business operations. Mr. Wahesh joined the company as the Director of Operations for new products. He also served as Vice President of Program Operations, and led Client Services and Network Operations for eviCore. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Wahesh was a management consultant with Accenture’s IT Strategy and Transformation Management group. His more than 20 years of operations leadership includes service in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and 75th Ranger Regiment. Mr. Wahesh earned an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BA in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute.
