eviCore Clinical Decision Support (eviCore CDS) enables organizations to comply with the CMS Appropriate Use Criteria program, the Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA) of 2014, Section 218(b). The PAMA requires that physicians ordering advanced imaging exams consult Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) through a qualified Clinical Decision Support Mechanism (qCDSM).

eviCore CDS applies eviCore’s own comprehensive Cardiology and Radiology clinical guidelines as well as those from the AUC library of the Medical Guidelines Institute (MGI), an approved provider-led entity (PLE). Our CDS application is easy to navigate, use, and understand; integrates with major electronic health record (EHR) vendors; and can be customized to further improve the provider experience.
