Aetna Better Health of Kentucky Provider Resources
EviCore by Evernorth is pleased to expand its partnership with Aetna Better Health of Kentucky to provide authorization services for Aetna Better Health of Kentucky members. On September 26th, 2016, EviCore by Evernorth will begin accepting requests for all outpatient elective Cardiology studies with dates of service Monday, October 3rd, 2016, and after. All outpatient elective MRI, CT, PET and Pain Management studies will continue to require prior authorization through EviCore by Evernorth.
Effective October 3rd, 2016, EviCore is also implementing a change of process for initiating pain management pre-certification requests. Beginning October 3rd, 2016, online requests for approval can be initiated via the EviCore web portal located at www.evicore.com, via phone at 1-888-693-3211, or via fax at 844-82AETNA.
