EviCore by Evernorth is an independent company that provides preauthorization for selected care categories for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas.
As of May 1, 2021, EviCore by Evernorth will no longer provide services for BCBS IL Commercial members. For services please call the number on the member ID card. EviCore will continue to provide services for BCBS IL Medicare and Medicaid members.
